It’s our 5th birthday today and we are sharing how the show and our advice has changed you, our listeners. We can barely believe it was 5 whole years ago when we met up for breakfast on podcast release day. We hoped to get just 100 downloads that day and now we’ve surpassed 2,000,000. But this episode and this birthday aren’t about us; it’s about YOU! So many kind listeners wrote in to tell us how the show has impacted their lives and how it makes them feel and we are sharing their thoughts with you. From buying their brokerage to being able to afford their dream to simply finding a way to work peacefully while raising 5 kids, Hustle Humbly has played a part. You’ve listened to us in the car, the shower, while walking the dog, training for a marathon, doing laundry and dishes, and so much more. We are beyond grateful for each of you and so humbled by these stories and all of our listeners who keep returning every Monday. Maybe you feel like we are friends and the truth is we ARE. Thank you for everything! Happy podcast birthday to you!

Alissa 0:00
I was like, Katie, they’re using it in a real estate school, right?
Katy 0:04
I mean, that’s wild, yeah, that is wild. Look at it. It’s coming towards you. Name them,
Alissa 0:11
Alyssa and Katie. Oh, my God,
Katy 0:13
Adrian, I don’t know if it’s too late, what
Alissa 0:15
did you name your horses? I just feel like we are owed the honor.
Katy 0:19
If it isn’t too late. Can we get an Alyssa and a Katie horse? Totally
Alissa 0:23
we need to be the roller coaster operator. Yeah,
Katy 0:28
that was my favorite analogy you ever made on I made that
Alissa 0:31
analogy, right? Yes, you did. That’s great. Hi y’all, welcome to hustle. Humbly, it’s Alyssa and Katie and we are two top producing realtors in the Baton Rouge market. We
Katy 0:42
work for two different companies where we should be competitors, but we have chosen community over competition. The
Alissa 0:47
goal of our podcast is to encourage you to find your own way in business, so
Katy 0:51
stop comparing yourself and start embracing your strengths. Hi, Alyssa. Hey, Katie, happy birthday. Happy
Alissa 0:58
birthday, not your belly button birthday, which is what one of our listeners called it. You’ve never heard before birthday, but this is our podcast birthday.
Katy 1:08
The Hats are not gonna work out. We’re
Alissa 1:12
five years old. We’re
Katy 1:13
five years you should wear a party hat when you’re five years old. Yeah,
Alissa 1:17
we brought balloons, and we have all these amazing stories and comments from our listeners for our birthday. This is the best birthday present ever, I know. But coming fresh off of our intro, I wanted to read you what Leslie Clement said. Does anyone else say the intro while the podcast starts? I know it word for word. She just says it right a lot Leslie’s in the car, like Katie,
Katy 1:42
she would be really freaked out if we changed it, yeah? Like, wait a minute. No,
Alissa 1:46
I know.
Katy 1:48
You know, Jay likes to hit the skip button when we’re Netflix, seeing or watching whatever, where it says skip intro, yeah. And it makes me so angry, because I like the familiarity, like, I love to re watch a movie I love. Like, if I’m watching Friends, I’d rather watch the whole intro. I don’t. I don’t need to skip it. So he knows now. I’m like, Look, I understand it’s more efficient. We’re trying to just knock out a show, whatever I figured, I figured, but I have to watch it at least the first time. If it’s a new show, I’m like, I have to know what’s in the intro. Yeah, that’s like they’re setting the
Alissa 2:21
tone. I also very much appreciate the recaps.
Katy 2:24
The recap is fine. He’ll watch the recap. Okay. So before we get into so what we did was we emailed our email list, which is, I think, around 8000 listeners, and asked them if they had, you know, stories of episodes they liked, or ways the show had impacted them. And so that’s what we’re going to share. Instead of us talking about us, we’ll share how the show has affected them, but I will
Alissa 2:52
say some of these emails on my sheets. So Katie hasn’t looked at my sheets. I have and I have not looked at her correct are are sort of just like reading positive reviews about ourselves. I mean, fine. So I thought that’s so sweet. And I was getting like, you know, in my feels, but I did highlight some actually good talk. Okay, great. So maybe you have stories. I have I already have two. I
Katy 3:18
have a few stories. I have a few stories, and I have, yeah, you’re right. Look, a lot of times when you know, we, we’ve been asking for toast for the end of the show since the beginning of time, right? So five years, we’ve been saying, Send in your toast. Toast whoever you want to really, one in 10 toast would be like, I’d
Alissa 3:35
like to toast to you. Yeah, Alyssa and Katie, no, but we’re not going to toast ourselves anymore. That’s kind of how I felt about this. I know so it feels, but there are some some, but it was sweet, like these would make great reviews. And I appreciated
Katy 3:50
that, right? I always appreciate a good review and and I really just wanted to hear, like, is it making a difference? You know, like, when you’re doing something and you’re like, I don’t know,
Alissa 3:58
is it like, after sorting through all of these emails that we received, I’m like, we are making a difference. I
Katy 4:06
know. Okay, do you remember the morning of the release of the podcast on August 19, 2019 that’s the great thing about our fifth birthday. For whatever reason, it’s also a Monday, and it is exactly our birthday, August 19. Oh, so do you remember the morning of our release? Yeah, we
Alissa 4:24
went to Ruby slipper, right?
Katy 4:26
Do you remember how you were feeling that day? Very ill. Yeah, you had a neck issue.
Alissa 4:31
I had like my neck was all seized up and tight, and I was so nauseous, right? Well, and you died like a pain pill, not just barely, because of, not because of the podcast. I was just actually saying, like,
Katy 4:45
you were like, laid out in your car, and you’re like, I think I can come inside. And I’m like, Okay, I
Alissa 4:50
ate french fries. Yeah, for breakfast. For breakfast. I was like, Do you have any French fries? They’re
Katy 4:55
like, yes, we do. And then we just, like, sat there and released the show. So and then our producer, at the time said, you know, a great goal would be 100 downloads. Yeah, you know, like for your first episode. And we’re like, Okay, maybe we’ll get to 100 downloads. I think at the end of the day, it was 300 326
Alissa 5:16
is what I remember, delightful. And
Katy 5:18
she was like, wow. And it just sort of like went from there. And
Alissa 5:23
what’s funny is we hadn’t really told anybody we had been working on this, almost like a super secret project, right? We had just been planning and working behind the scenes, and I hadn’t even told my family or anything,
Katy 5:36
right? You’re just like, oh, by the way, yeah, I know. And we, I’m collecting up some nostalgic photos and videos, so we’ll share those you know, with the with the new listeners. Not everyone’s been here for five years. I know. I mean, some people have been here for one month,
Alissa 5:52
even when I was reading through all these stories. So many new people, which makes me so happy. I
Katy 5:57
know it really makes me happy too. So 326, downloads on day one. I know you kind of know. Do you want me to give you the number of where we’re at today? Yeah. And we also had no clue how this works. Dale knows is a running total, yes. So this number is the number of times people have downloaded any Episode Episode.
Alissa 6:14
So if you are a listener that has listened to all 275 episodes, you have contributed to 275
Katy 6:22
downloads, download even though you’re one person, even though you’re Yeah, because it’s per episode. So our download total As of recording 2,109,784 Wow, wow. And if we had a day where only 326 downloads happen, we would freak out. So like, when you look back, right, you’re like, in the opposite way, right? You’d be like, Wow, 326 it’s amazing. Now, we’d be like, oh, somebody, right, yeah, but it’s so crazy to watch how something like that builds,
Alissa 6:55
yeah, over time, with consistency, right?
Katy 6:58
But you know what? It builds, because we are consistent, right? If you show up every Monday, we’ve never missed a Monday. Never missed a Monday. Okay? I’ll come back and give you our top 10 episodes. Let’s do a few stories.
Alissa 7:11
Can we start talking about one of our favorite listeners, please, James Harold. Oh, sweet. James from Nebraska, James, I don’t really know. Maybe it’s in this story.
Katy 7:24
I think James may have been the one who started listening. Because at Van ed the school, the real estate school where he is in Nebraska, they would share episode eight, which is the three P’s of professionalism. Yes,
Alissa 7:37
he said, When I was in real estate licensing school, one of the classes featured an episode of hustle, humbly, okay, perfect. Episode 23 the three P’s. After listening to that episode, I started over at Episode One and listened to every past episode as I was going through the remainder of my classes and taking my real estate exams. I mean, I love it. I love it. And I think that whenever, I think, because James found us very early on, and it was the first time that I was like, Katie, someone in Nebraska, right? Like, this is far, far away, yeah. And he was funny. I think he sent us, like, some funny messages. I
Katy 8:14
think we were probably in the mood for that, because, remember, we had that weird stalker guy. Yeah, we
Alissa 8:18
did have a weird stalker guy. Jay
Katy 8:19
has not a weird No, he’s not. He’s a friend of the show.
Alissa 8:23
But what’s funny is we did get to meet James in person right in California when hustle humbly went to the NAR Expo, and we were so excited, and then, like, right before we knew we were gonna meet him, I thought, Wait, what? If he’s not who we what if we’re being catfished? I mean, I guess it’s possible. And what if this guy who we’ve been talking to for four years is weird and a stalker? He was not, and he wasn’t a pure delight, pure delight, delight. He’s hilarious. He’s a good friend, yes, not just to us, but he’s a huge contributor to our hustle, humbly, community, for sure. Anyway, I just remember James being one of the first listeners that made me realize how far the show was reaching. You know, we’ve talked about this before that in the beginning, I always struggled with believing people listened, yeah, but you always had this big picture vision. And I was just trying to, like, get there, and so James and the rest of our community members were a huge part. Yeah, we needed to see them. I was like, Katie, they’re using it in a real estate school, right?
Katy 9:34
I mean, that’s wild, yeah, that is wild. Okay, I’ll give you one that has photo accompaniment. Oh, okay, so I think I’m just gonna share first names for the sake of, if people don’t really want their biz out in the world, they can just plausibly deny it. Yeah. Okay, so this is from Adrian. She is in Colorado, and she messaged and said, You girls have made me such a better agent that i. Was finally able to afford my dream. Okay, I’m gonna show you what her dream was. Oh, my God, because we helped her to afford her dream. Is this the girl that wanted the boat? No, but that would be great if we helped her afford a boat. We hear about all your dreams I need through messages, she sent a video of her dream, a video in the email to my DMs, tell them what it is.
Alissa 10:27
Stop it. It’s horses. Horses. Beautiful horses. Look
Katy 10:32
how pretty. I know, right? YouTube’s not gonna be able to see that, but my gosh, there are horse, real live horses. They’re hers. Look at it. It’s coming towards did she
Alissa 10:42
name them? Alyssa and Katie?
Katy 10:43
Oh, my God, Adrian, I don’t know if it’s too late. What
Alissa 10:47
did you name your horses? I just feel like we are owed the
Katy 10:50
honor. If it isn’t too late, can we get an Alyssa and a Katie horse? Totally.
Alissa 10:54
Okay. What
Katy 10:56
do you what else you got?
Alissa 10:58
I have one from Cindy, and she said that the podcast has been a lifesaver for her. She was a brand new agent, seeking guidance, and she was searching everywhere. Went through some real duds. She said I found y’all one morning when I was in the gym and I couldn’t stop listening. I went home and I did all my laundry and I did all the dishes, and the next thing you know, the whole house was cleaned, and I was feeling so enlightened and empowered because I couldn’t stop listening. She said, Now today, I am confident enough to say I’m treating my business like a business. Oh, hustle humbly helped me feel confident that I am representing my clients in a professional and informed manner. I have had a great couple of years, and I truly think it’s because hustle humbly gave me that direction. I love that, and that makes me so happy, because that was a huge reason for starting the podcast was to help agents treat it like a business and to bring professionalism back to the industry. Right, right,
Katy 11:57
right. Yeah, okay, here’s a good one, because I like hearing where, because she listed a lot of places where she was listening. I love hearing where people are listening and what they’re doing when they listen. Amanda, local. Amanda, I hope you are, I’ll
Alissa 12:12
show you who it is. Oh, okay,
Katy 12:15
I hope you are doing so amazing. I’m training for a marathon, so I’ve been listening to hustle humbly more often, you and Alyssa are so inspiring. The content is always super helpful, and I enjoy the way you both articulate it through your real estate experience and examples. The episodes sure do make my runs go by quicker. Oh, I’m like, oh, okay, we’re training hustle humbly trains for a marathon. Yeah, that’s wonderful. Okay, here’s another one. Okay, while you were looking my my trainer, Adair listens, you know, a dare, yeah, she says, I would have never made the jump to start my own business without your encouragement and showing that it can be done. And she’s not even a realtor. No, that’s
Alissa 12:59
so neat. I know I love how that while she’s training you, you’re giving her all this advice, marketing and social media newsletters. I’m
Katy 13:06
like, Listen, this is
Unknown Speaker 13:08
what you gotta do. You’re like,
Unknown Speaker 13:10
just business coaching while I’m working out. Yeah,
Alissa 13:15
okay, go. Okay. Josh said that he has a whiteboard above his desk where he puts quotes and helpful information. Okay, said it’s pretty much all from the podcast. I love it. One of the analogies that I constantly remind myself is on an episode, you talked about how we can’t ride the roller coaster with our clients. We will burn out, and we cannot continue to go through the ups and downs with every client. We need to be the roller coaster operator.
Katy 13:42
Yeah, yeah, that was my favorite analogy you ever made on I made that analogy, right? Yes, you did. That’s great. You’re so smart. And then Katie, a listener in Washington State, made remember her lip sync of it. Yes, she did all the works of the roller coaster. She was mouthing it. It was so good.
Alissa 14:03
Oh my gosh, yes, I love that. He said one of his favorite episodes is the three piece to professionalism. So maybe we should replay that as a bonus this week, because it comes up a lot in these he taught a class to his brokerage, and at the end, he passed around champagne and asked everyone to give a toast to someone else. That’s so sweet. He said, he asked his mentors to come to this class so he could toast to them. Oh my gosh, some of the quotes he has on his whiteboard. Are you ready? I’m ready. Doing the right thing is never the wrong thing. That’s
Katy 14:37
a good idea. Don’t
Alissa 14:38
let anybody should on you when you focus on the good, the good gets better. Courage comes before confidence. And one of my favorites that y’all said on the podcast was shout out to all those weeds growing in the concrete.
Katy 14:52
Shout out, it’s hard out there. Yeah. Well,
Alissa 14:55
that was wonderful, Josh, thank you for writing in.
Katy 14:57
Okay. April said five. Five question mark, exclamation point, oh my gosh. I didn’t even realize this means that I am coming up on five years in the business. I started listening to this podcast before I got my license. I was interested in real estate for a long time, but didn’t consider it until around September, October of 2019 and earned my lightweight hold on and earned my license in November 2019 I remember listening to your episodes in the very beginning. The very beginning, and they helped me prepare for what was has become the best full time job ever. Community over competition has been something that has been instilled in my work ethic from the very beginning of my career, and I have to thank you, Katie and Alyssa for this podcast, for playing a role in my growth. I was lucky enough to enter into a brokerage that has the same mentality, with tons of support. But I was extra lucky to stumble upon this podcast and received so much knowledge from both of you and a large congratulations to five years. That is amazing, and you both should be so proud of the accomplishment and the following you have gained how sweet she’s been here the whole time. Can
Alissa 16:00
you imagine having systems in place from the beginning of your business? Funny, I
Katy 16:05
was thinking about that this morning. And, like, some of the things on our website that you can buy for like, 50 bucks or, like, a couple $100 I’m like, I would have killed,
Alissa 16:12
died, killed for this stuff. I think back to the first years when I was just winging it. Yeah, and yeah. How much better could I have been? I
Katy 16:20
thought, and look, y’all, I was in a small office. I was in a big franchise office. I thought you showed up and they told you how to sell real estate. And although they will say, here are some classes available to you, they just don’t give you, like, the A to Z and like, really walk you through it. You really have to kind of claw and scrape and do it on your own,
Alissa 16:41
or they give you so many tools, so much that you’re like, I did not know I needed all of this to run a real estate business. And it’s like, you don’t, right? It’s simple drinking from the fire hose. Yes, one Blair wrote in and said that our podcast gives her a huge sense of relief. Oh, good, okay, because she was feeling like, you know, she was a newer agent and didn’t know, like, all the things to choose from, and then just a reminder that it’s all about the people, yeah. So she said, over the years, she has sent episodes to her newer agent friends, and it helps them stay sharp and keeps her in check with, yeah, you know, keeping I even get that way too, I’ll start overthinking something, thinking that I need to be implementing something in my business fancier, and then I’m like, But why? Right? Is it? Is it gonna take give me more time back? No, it’s
Katy 17:39
just a lot of times we just don’t ask ourselves the whys. We just like, kind of go with the Okay, well, what’s everyone else doing? Yeah, I guess I should do this. So many of these messages were like, Thank you for letting me know it was okay to not do what everyone else was doing. All right. Marissa said, hustle humbly has been game changing for my real estate business. It’s so easy to feel isolated in this industry, and I always felt comforted turning on a new episode Monday morning. It’s my favorite way to start the week. I’ve bonded with other agents over the podcast. Some of my favorite episodes are the staging ones. They were they were so eye opening, and have really transformed the way I get listings ready.
Alissa 18:15
Y’all, I have clients in town this week, and we have looked at nine houses this week, because they’re, you know, only here this week. Yeah, I would say seven of them were disgusting. That’s 80% I will use the word disgusting. And I thought, and one of them, the agent, texted me, before I was at the showing, and said, Hey, my sellers are really motivated. Bring me an offer, then clean it. There was like underwear on the floor, motivated. And I just thought to myself, there’s so many sellers out there that need professional guidance, right? And they don’t even know.
Katy 18:54
They don’t even know what they’re
Alissa 18:56
I’ll have to, I’ll have to share that feedback I left with you on the one on your street. I can’t wait. I was so furious. I just started typing it while I was in the house, me and my clients just went to town because I was like, Look, I leave feedback on every property. The thing is, it was the house my clients were most excited about, and it
Katy 19:13
showed the worst, and it showed the worst. The guy used such a good street. I
Alissa 19:19
know the guy that uses thick, heavy metal chains as drape holders, it feels like a torture house, like it was bizarre. I need to go down there. Yeah, I think you should schedule an appointment. You and Jay, just for fun. Okay, fascinating, fascinating. So, yeah, staging is very amazing, so important, very passionate, that you are a realtor that guides and directs your sellers,
Katy 19:47
no doubt. Okay, here’s one who would remain. Would like to remain anonymous, okay, I am in the process of potentially buying the brokerage I work for. Oh, they have been in business. For over 100 years, and the current owner has no heirs. I attribute my success largely to all the things I’ve learned on the podcast. Wow, you, you helped someone potentially buy a whole brokerage. Wow. Wow. Is
Alissa 20:14
that Robert Revkin. Did he just buy my company? No, my company’s over 100 years and just got by. No, no, no, no, amazing. It’s pretty cool from inspiration and help. So brandy says, y’all are an absolute joy. I’m a new agent. I recently bought all of your courses and email templates. I cannot thank you enough. What does she mean? Y’all don’t sleep on these courses. Oh, that
Katy 20:40
means there’s actually quality material inside. Oh,
Alissa 20:43
good, great. Okay. I was like, I’m like, Katie, what’s a belly button birthday? I didn’t know that one this listener. And I’m like, Y’all don’t sleep on these, you know? Like, y’all don’t sleep on this. Like, it’s
Katy 20:53
so good. Oh, good. Like, yeah, there’s actual value. I was like, No, we, no, we don’t. Yeah, but, but all that says is there are other things out there in the world that charge Realtors hundreds and 1000s of dollars, and they don’t even provide any like needle moving value, yes. So thank you too. Who was this? Brandy? Thank you, Brandy.
Alissa 21:12
Brandy loves all of the shows, but the one that stands out the most to her is value proposition. Oh, that’s a good now, more important thing than ever. Yeah, so again, deep, deep, heartfelt gratitude. Thank you for giving your heart and soul to the real estate community. Oh,
Katy 21:28
my God, you’re so welcome, Brandy. Thank you so sweet. I
Alissa 21:32
do have a soul. You too. Soul.
Katy 21:34
Are you ready to hear our top 10 episodes? Yeah, since she mentioned some of her favorites. Actually, I’ll give you three, then we’ll do some more stories and I’ll give you three more. Let’s start. Look, I learned my lesson. You don’t start at one, you start at 10.
Alissa 21:49
Oh yes,
Katy 21:50
I’ve done this wrong before. Yeah, I’ve
Alissa 21:51
done this wrong with like, who cares what the rest are? Do
Katy 21:53
you have any guesses
Alissa 21:57
bare necessities?
Katy 21:58
No, okay, I’m
Alissa 22:00
not gonna ask you, forget it, because there’s number 200 That’s
Katy 22:03
right. Number Number 10. Episode 151 converting cold leads and sign calls. Such
Alissa 22:11
a good 113, 1000 downloads. Okay,
Katy 22:14
all right, so that’s number 10. Number nine. I’m so excited. This is on here, confidence and self doubt. Oh, so remember, we talk about how you have to make yourself big and how to prepare for an appointment and like, that’s a really, really good one. Yeah, that one was from May of 2022, 13,600 downloads. And then number eight. Spruce up your biz.
Alissa 22:36
I love that one such a goodie. If you’re in a funk and you’re just not even you’re slow, you’re not even sure what you’re supposed to be doing. That one will give you everything. Yeah, it’ll just give you some good things to get you started, like laundry list of what should we do and
Katy 22:48
freshen up that business. Okay, I’ll come back. So, okay, that’s eight, 810, nine, eight. Give us a story. Alyssa.
Alissa 22:55
This is from teal. Okay, good day, my friends. Good day, teal. When I stumbled upon you two amazing humans. Oh, my God, I was licensed for five years, and in those five years, I didn’t know jack squat, right? I knew roughly how I wanted to organize my business, but I really didn’t know how to put it all together. That made sense from the first episode I listened to, which I believe was around episode 100 I was like, hell yeah, these are my people. I followed you girls like a true believer, or maybe stalker is the right word. Oh, I’ve listened to every episode and followed almost all of your guided wisdom. Only a few things left. I’m still working on following through. I could not be happier with my email organization, my templates, my business plan, my resume, oh my God, my buyer folder, my listing folder, and so much more.
Katy 23:51
Oh my god, how sweet is that. It’s so good. All the things she listed are so important. You
Alissa 23:57
know, another reason, besides, of course, wondering, wanting to better the real estate industry that I got started in the podcast is because, you know, I was getting burnt out on my coffee dates. But the reason I was getting burnt out on my coffee dates is because I would pour myself out, but it they would just not do anything with that
Katy 24:19
information. And you’d follow up. And it’s just, yeah, I
Alissa 24:21
would follow up and be like, Hey, how’s that resume going? And they’re like, Oh, I just never got around to it. And I’m like, we spent an hour. You asked me for an hour of my time, and I basically did it for you, and you still and it’s like that it wasn’t the coffee dates that were burning me out, it was the lack of enthusiasm
Katy 24:41
after like your time is not valuable right now. The nice thing about the podcast is you can broadcast it, and whoever wants to listen can listen, and hopefully someone in that mix actually took action, right? Like
Alissa 24:53
hearing teal story of all the things she actually implemented, and not as a brand new agent, no five years. In she was like, Okay, we wouldn’t get this together. Those are the things that you know fill me up. That’s awesome. Love
Katy 25:07
it. Okay, here’s Nikki. Nikki said I started listening to the podcast pretty recently, back in September of 2023 I had just made the decision to leave my corporate job as a VP with one of the largest banks in the US. I have been there for 18 years. After a lot of research on small business opportunities and entrepreneurial options, I landed on real estate and enrolled in school. I was trying to complete my courses in between my nine to five so still at work, commute time, kids school, extracurricular activities and just momming on the daily it was not easy, but I did it and proudly passed my exams the first time. I was not going to pay the fee twice. She’s like, I’m doing this. Yeah, I’m not. I’m doing I’m doing it. I wouldn’t actually leave my company until June of this year. So pretty recently, I had a plan which included my financial runway and revolved around kids school summer schedules. I would have gone into this career change with my head in the clouds. If it weren’t for you two ladies, I had a clear vision of what I wanted to accomplish and what it would take. I was in the real estate mindset months before I actually started, and it’s thanks to you and this wonderful community. Thank you. Hustle, humbly and Happy Birthday episodes on repeat lately are 17, what to do when you’re new or slow. 11, open house and 164 selling yourself as a new agent.
Alissa 26:24
That was amazing. Can you even I have found that agents who are coming from a corporate job often succeed better than others because they had that structure, yeah, and they had that consistent paycheck that they knew, yeah, this is gonna go away, and I have to make this work. Yeah, they know what it means to have to be at an office at a certain Right.
Katy 26:51
Like they’re waking up in the morning and they’re like, how do I spend my eight work hours today? Right? Yeah? Like, I gotta do something, yes.
Alissa 26:56
So I just thought that was a good observation. Love it. So this one is from one of our local agents that I didn’t even know listened to the show. Oh, you don’t say she’s a new listener. Oh my gosh. Even better, Jen, when I read this, I don’t know, just maybe I don’t know, just touch to you. Well, bring it to me. I want to hear it because she’s, she’s a huge producer in our market. Yes, huge producer, and so I don’t know Anyway, let me hear it. Y’all, y’all, y’all, y’all, that’s how you know she’s local. Y’all, I’m a new listener. A few months I’d say I’ve listened to at least half episodes, purchased several products, and love you both. Oh my god, you make me feel normal about this crazy job, the episode, messy, May, oh my gosh, same I felt like everyone had lost their minds and forgotten English. He’s just not that into you. Episode, so, so funny. Oh my god. BBA, cover letter, so simple, yet so amazing. Favorite, that’s the buyer brokerage agreement
Katy 28:04
cover letter, important right now, yes, if you don’t have this, I don’t know,
Alissa 28:09
like, so simple, it’s so helpful and so amazing. Okay, love that. She got that. Yeah, she said. I just can’t express how helpful you two are. I share you with every agent that will listen to me. Thank you for being you. Oh, my God, thank
Katy 28:24
you, Jen. I know that’s really sweet, and that’s sweet, that’s really sweet. I’m just but it’s on top of that, even someone like that
Alissa 28:33
who is top producing and is like, thanks. This was helpful. Yeah. Like, that’s a big deal. And I think especially so Jen does so much, so many transactions, like she blows me out of the water some years, and also is creeping into a more luxury price point as her years in the business grow. And we’ve done, I’ve been in masterminds with her, and you know, she’s just so business minded and has so many different things going on. I would have never really thought she needed any of this, right? So to hear her say that like she also struggles with like, this is a crazy job, I know, and there’s so much going on, and to hear all these listeners say that they the podcast helps ground them. Yeah, I think recording the podcast helps ground me. For sure, me too. Yeah, that’s why we call it podcast therapy, Yeah,
Katy 29:29
gotta go for the therapy. Yeah. All right, let’s talk about Nancy. Nancy. Nancy said, Before I started listening to hustle humbly, I would hear real estate experts talk about the best way to do business their way included cold calling, door knocking, multiple 90 minute appointments each day, etc. While I have no doubt that these things do generate business, it really doesn’t fit my personality, and I felt like I was failing, even though my production indicated that My way was working. See, it’s the message that gets to us. Right? Yeah, all right. You guys give me permission to run my business in a way that fits me, my fits me and my life. I am so grateful for both of you, and wish we could be friends in real life, Nancy, we can be friends in real life. I
Alissa 30:11
hope Nancy’s in community with us, and we can talk to her on our next monthly live. Yeah, Nancy Come, come talk to us. I think that’s such a great point, though, because I just got asked to speak at a real estate office, and there was a few different speakers at the at the event, and I was the only one that sold real estate, and I just had a like the rest were coaches, yes, and
Katy 30:35
I they real estate specific coaches, but they did not, or had not. I
Alissa 30:40
think one used to sell real estate, never really had the best production. And then was like, I I’m just gonna coach people, yeah? Which, I
Katy 30:48
mean, look, I can understand that coaching is a specific skill set. It is, yeah, however, this job is so nuanced that it feels like, how do you coach someone in something you never did?
Alissa 31:02
Well, it’s kind of like, I want my trainer to look like a dare. Do you look like you work out? Right, right, perfect. You look like you implement. Yeah, what you teach. And every now and then something would be said, and I would go, oof, and then I would see all the agents, oh, writing this virtually, writing. And I wanted to be like, Y’all, that’s not gonna work. Not gonna work. No, no, that’s not gonna work. Don’t do it.
Katy 31:26
We’ll just, we’ll just keep putting out the right
Alissa 31:27
message. So I think it’s that because we’re in it, we yes this. We are squeezing in these recordings between showing houses, going on, listing, appointments, staging, unstaging, taking care of our families, right? Like this isn’t all we do. No, no, we
Katy 31:46
are in the trenches. No, with y’all oh my gosh, so crazy. All right, are you ready for Mandy? Happy birthday. Do you know Mandy? Oh, different man but yeah, I
Alissa 31:54
love that. Mandy, too.
Katy 31:55
I have loved everything about you ladies. The amount of information you both have taught us, has been huge in my business and my team development. Just the pure joy of the two of you bring to my Monday mornings makes the start of my week worth getting up and going. That’s really my favorite. Was the beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep. You know the flip reports, updates. That was fun to hear the updates and the process. But when you would all, when you all would forget to do it at the beginning, would crack me up. Katie’s obsession with rap music is so unexpected, but I love it. Alyssa and her email OCD always gets me. I want to be like you, but I just can’t. And yes, I have tried. Lol, best takeaways, email templates truly a game changer. Love, love, love. We are not alone. Just hearing others in different areas have the same struggles helps to not feel it’s just me. I think this is inspection B, I N, S, R practices. I admitted creating a draft for my clients to review, rather than them going through the big, scary report and trying to come up with a cray, cray list of repairs. Yeah, so like
Alissa 32:59
a repair request draft, because we talk about that in the inspection episode, she
Katy 33:03
says, All in all, thank you both for the great five years. I have been a loyal listener from day one. I
Alissa 33:10
was going to say, because when you said Mandy, I was like, Mandy gold or Mandy Street, yeah, because they’re both around. They have both been around for years and to their,
Katy 33:20
the Mandy’s, they’re up there with Jay. She said she’ll continue to be one as long as we’ll have
Alissa 33:24
her. Oh, we’ll have you, man we’ll have you. And this next one is from Leah, okay, who was introduced to the podcast by Mandy street. That’s why I was like, yeah, that worked out perfectly. I hope the mandies are friends. Thank you. Me. Yeah, you the Mandy’s the Mandy should be friends. So on that note, there’s like this, in my new company that I’m in, they have all these, like, small little referral groups that you can just make up. And it’s sort of like, for example, you could be the group of Katie’s, yeah, and you cannot be in this group unless your name is Katie, yeah, or the group that went to LSU, or the group that owns a corgi. Oh, but maybe the Mandy’s could start like, what a connector the Mandy group, yeah, that’s precious. Um, anyway, so thank you, Mandy. She said, y’all have taught me all the things my team I had I had just left, did not teach me. So she had just left a team. She was finding her way. Mandy street comes along. Says, Leah, listen to this. Yep. So now I run my business like a business. I know how to run my stats, and when I was on the team, everything just got way out of hand. Y’all taught me it was okay to not do everything, but to focus in on the things that work. Let’s see the list goes on and on. But now I’m in year six of my business, and as a mama to five kids, with three of them being under the age of two, I don’t think I would be able to do this without y’all. My systems that y’all talk about are what has kept me sane through it all. I love that. I mean, if you are juggling kids and have no systems in place, things are going to slip through the cracks. That one
Katy 35:05
gave me chills, like a person who is raising five children. If I can help you in any way, I’m happy to do it. Me too. I’m happy to do it. I know. Oh my gosh. All right, let’s do three more episodes. Okay, we’re on number 7/7, most listened to, episode number 144, numbers to know the
Alissa 35:23
math. Episode The math. What is wrong with you people? The
Katy 35:27
Math Episode almost broke 14,000 downloads. Then I don’t know they need to they we told them numbers to know they’re like because you know what? No one tells you when you go to get your real estate license, if you can’t do math, you probably are going to struggle like math is an important component of how you’re helping your buyers and sellers figure stuff out. And you’re such a numbers person and I’m such a number we both really like data. And I think Were you good at math in school? No, I was pretty good at math in school.
Alissa 35:57
Yeah. I mean, I like money math. But you know, all the geometry, right? We
Katy 36:04
only need money math. Yeah, you only need money math. But
Alissa 36:06
even computing, you know, square footage and stuff, it’s like when I was in real estate school trying to learn all those formulas. Again. I wish someone would have said, Hey, don’t worry. You can pay someone to measure the houses for you,
Katy 36:18
I mean, but I still think you need to know how, yeah, and I do know how. But okay, fine. Number six, so numbers to know. Number seven, number six, what to do when you don’t know what to do. That’s number 135. That was the redo of episode 17. So it’s another what to do when you’re newer, slow vibe. Then number five, working with sellers from listing to closing, that was a good one, and y’all very practical, ever more important than now, if you haven’t listened to that, you need to listen to working with sellers, because that’s how you’re going to stay alive.
Alissa 36:52
Stay alive. Yeah, stay
Katy 36:53
alive, people. Stay strong out there. All right, give me a story.
Alissa 36:56
This is from Tasha, okay. I recently signed up for your monthly community. I got an accountability partner. Shout out, Leanne.
Unknown Speaker 37:04
What cute. And I love her.
Alissa 37:07
I love how down to earth you girls are, how real you are with stuff that’s happening in your business. I love that you share your life as well, not just your work, because let’s be real. That’s what it’s all about, balance. She’s the one who had her belly button birthday, August 13. Bless it. Oh,
Katy 37:25
I see. Okay, got it, yeah? Tasha, we
Alissa 37:26
had to google that. Had never heard of that. We were very confused. It’s almost like, similar to, like, you know, the birthday suit. Like, what does that mean? You’re like, naked, right? Belly button birthday, yeah. Anyway, um, so y’all got me through a season of change where I needed community and some newness. So thank you for being there for me from a distance, but right there in my car,
Katy 37:46
this makes me feel like bet Miller from a distance.
Alissa 37:52
I love it. I just read this book, and the girl in the book wrote into a like relationship advice columnist, like we have Delilah. I love Delilah. Yeah. I feel like, you know, we, should we, we, yeah, write in. We should have, like, a call Katie, you know, instead
Katy 38:08
of like, a beep, flip report, we’ll do a and today on Ask Katie, ask hustle humbly, call Katie. Yeah, I feel like you’d be good at that. Cute, okay, yeah, I’d be like, get over it. No, you would not. That is a lie. All right. Are you ready for Ally’s story? She said I could not have started my business with confidence without constantly listening to the podcast and buying agent systems. A fellow agent recommended the podcast, and it was a godsend. Two years later and still listening, I use the email templates and Trello frequently. Important tools. Important tools. Trello,
Alissa 38:46
man, so good, so good. I was cleaning mine out yesterday. I love it. This is from Patty. Patty’s been around for a minute. I like Patty. We love patty. I know Patty from the time I found your podcast, I knew I was going to like you girls. We like you, Patty, I appreciate the combination of hustle and being humble that it implies. Then when I started listening to you, I just knew this is where I needed to be. I had joined a big agency to get training she has in quotes. That was the air quote. Air quotes. During the intensive training hosted by the agency, there were several leaders that led different session, and as each spoke, I knew there were some that I resonated with, and others not so much. I was trying to figure out what being a realtor meant for me. Listening to your podcast gave me the confidence to reject all the shoulds. Love it I love Don’t let anyone should on you, especially when it comes to fancy CRMs.
Katy 39:40
That’s right. The
Alissa 39:41
other thing I love about your podcast is the emphasis on community over competition. I keep thinking all the things that you suggest. I keep thinking all the things you suggest in actions that, if taken correctly, will make me a better friend and a happier person. Yes, thank you all for being part of my. Five. And on that community note, I’m looking forward to meeting you in person when you are in Texas. I’m so excited. Want to come meet us in Texas. You need to message us. I
Katy 40:12
think it’s the last we’re gonna try and go the last weekend of September. Yeah, more details to follow. I would love to hug patty. Also, she mentioned something in that story that triggered something for me. Do you think part of the reason why we get the right fit listeners is the name, yeah, because they’re like, okay, because if you don’t want to work anything called hustle, ain’t gonna catch you right, right? And it’s just that that juxtaposition of hustle and being humble
Alissa 40:44
and humble is like the opposite. That was the opposite of real estate.
Katy 40:49
It is, it is. So it’s like, these people are like, wait a minute, what have I gotten myself into? What
Alissa 40:54
is the opposite? An antonym, a syndrome, is the same. Look at you and doing this homework with Haven. Okay, so it’ll be like, you have to say hot and Haven has to say cold, right? And I have to say big, and she has to say small, and I’ll say real estate, and she’ll say humble,
Katy 41:13
because it’s the opposite. It is the opposite in so many ways, in so many ways. Okay, let’s do Diana. I’m gonna say her last name. This is Diana Cohen, our friend, our friend, friend, friend in California who helped us to no end when we went to California for the expo, she let us deliver all of our y’all, I’m just going to quickly say, to be in an expo at one of these things is ridiculously expensive. Maybe because it was in California, I don’t know. But for instance, to get a folding eight foot long, like folding table, I just picture like the junky one you use for a crawfish boil. Okay, yeah, and an eight foot long folding table and two folding chairs that were like little metal chairs. It costs, like, $800 to rent them, to rent them. And I’m like, Well, hold up, who can buy these on Amazon for like, like, a fraction of this cost? And then I’m like, Well, wait, wait, wait, but how do we get it to California we had so we ordered all of this furniture, Amazon, rugs, everything we wanted for our booth, and we and Diana let us ship it to her house, and then she took it and set it up for us. Yeah. I mean, she and her son, yes, set up our
Alissa 42:27
booth at the expo, yeah. And every time you had to make a trip in, cost money to use, like, yeah, to use their Dolly, okay, Diana sent us a picture of the dolly. She’s like, take this. She tetrised it right in there was all. She made it in one trip with everything perfectly balanced. Blessed her. US money. Bless
Katy 42:50
her. Love her. Okay, so she says, Happy Birthday. So many great things about hustle, humbly. One, I love the podcast and all the education it provides. I’m two years new, and the way you each run your business resonates with me. I still hear cold call, door knock and sell, sell, sell at our office. Can you believe they really y’all, we’re not just saying believe it’s really being taught, really is. I am so uncomfortable with all of those strategies, and I love hearing there is another way to be a great real estate agent. Two, also, for the record, I think that door knocking is really, really common in California, because I see it even on like, those bit like the buying, yeah, Beverly Hills or whatever, selling sunset, like you’d get shot in Louisiana, yeah, you cannot do that. I think it’s really common there. But I wanted to say, you know, we love Brian Buffini. And Brian Buffini, if I’m not mistaken, was an agent for forever in California doing database as his method. So I don’t think it’s every single person, but it does seem to be like more California, right? They’re, they’re knocking on some doors. Interesting. Okay? Two. I loved meeting you in person. Still bummed it could not have been at my home. Y’all she was gonna let us come to our house, yeah? But it was really great seeing all of the friends at brewery X. Love chatting with Jay and Sarah as well. What a great team you have. That’s true. Three, the referral worksheet is amazing. You’re gonna love this. I was able to find Ashley Atwell in Washington, DC to take care of my niece. She and her husband just closed on a cute little town home, and couldn’t be happier, my brother in law is now looking in North California, northern California, and Juliana Sullivan is helping him out. It’s so comforting to know your family is going to be treated the way you want them to be. Being a part of the HH community means align values, and we can refer our loved ones with confidence. That’s so sweet. Thank you for all you do for us. I
Alissa 44:39
love hearing how the referral spreadsheet in our community has worked so well, right? Because we’re
Katy 44:45
just putting it out there. We’re not then following up or facilitating if eventually Sometimes people tell us,
Alissa 44:54
but we don’t hear all the stories, no, and Ashley Atwell was who I got for Secret Santa when we. Did Secret Santa and community love it? That was really fun. I
Katy 45:02
love it. I love it.
Alissa 45:03
You have another Yes. Jill says the best thing about hustle humbly is it made me feel okay about not wanting to build a team or cold call strangers when all the big brokers were pushing that as the only path to success. Thank you for all you do and for your honesty. I think that’s huge. I
Katy 45:23
mean, that’s all I want for, yeah, that’s all we’re doing, right, sometimes to a fault.
Alissa 45:28
Yeah, probably on
Katy 45:31
occasion, it’s okay. Courtney says the episode that talks about the season of life you were in was my favorite so many other companies coaching programs typically run by men. She says, not me. She said, not me. Can make you feel awful for not making x number of calls or doing a certain amount of business. But as the mom of a five month old, I knew this was not going to be my best year, and that’s okay. Hustle humbly is so encouraging and helpful in ways that I can always implement in any stage, Thanks,
Alissa 46:01
ladies, yeah, any season of life. Do what you can.
Katy 46:05
Five months old. Is cute, yeah, that’s a cute. Start moving around. They
Alissa 46:10
start smiling. That’s when Tanner started enjoying them. Oh, when they were like, Yeah, remember I told you when they’re first born? And he’s holding them like a little football, and he says their their back is like all curved. And he says, I feel like I’m holding a turtle that has lost its shell. So funny that is. But then they turn five months old, and they can, kind of, they can kind of sit up and smile. He needs them to smile at them. So I love that, Kimberly loves the relationship that you and I have. Oh, this suite. Yeah, she said it just works. We’re very enjoyable to listen to. Well, we’re so glad, yeah, and she’s learned so much. Thank you, Kimberly, I have enjoyed the relationship as well, right? Someone was like, Do y’all hang out all the time? And I’m thinking, two days a week, all day, right? Yes, but not outside of podcast real estate world, like you have your friends and right? I have my friends, and your kids do certain things. Yeah, we’re in different phases of life. Kids are different ages too. We did go to your sister’s moisture party, but I’ve gotten to know your sister. Yeah, through she likes to talk to you on the DMS. Yeah, we DM she helps me dress my kids. Yeah, well, I mean, someone’s gotta help, but it’s not like we’re going to dinner on Friday nights. It’s like, I can’t talk to you anymore. Katie, no, enough is enough. Gotta get it all out. Katie, do you want to hang out again?
Katy 47:36
I mean, I would, but I don’t think it’s
Alissa 47:38
necessary. I do enjoy now, like going to CE and stuff with you. Oh yes, you know, broker
Katy 47:44
tour, okay, right? Like, I think it out on it. I think it’s going to be version in the y we like to do an excursion from time to time. That’s true. All right. Tanya said, I just found the podcast through a friend earlier this year, and I’m still working my way through the episodes, but she’s joined the community and purchase the templates and a few other things, has totally changed the way I think feel, and working these systems into my business is helping so much.
Alissa 48:09
I love all these new listeners. I do too. That’s amazing. She
Katy 48:12
said, I love you guys. I love community over competition, and y’all. I am a friends fan too. My branding is all about it as well, because it just fits me. I am horrid with names and can’t remember which one of you is the friends fan. That’s me. It’s Katie. Do you like friends? It’s you’re fine, okay, yeah, but we need to be friends. Pun intended, we can be friends. Tanya, we’re friends. Also love the episode about he’s just not into you. He’s just not that into you. And all the comparisons were excellent, and spot on. I am a movie quoting fool, and this stuff speaks to my Taylor. Tanya. Tanya, last I just listened to the Leap Year episode, oh, and y’all were talking about what to do. What do people with Leap Year birthdays do to celebrate? Do you do the February 28 or March 1. Well, my daughter’s adoption by my amazing hubby was on Leap Year, and we so we celebrate her actual birthday, which is February 12 every year, and then every four years, on Leap Year, we celebrate her adoption day. That’s a good way so cute. Her adoption story is amazing. Okay, okay, I’m trying to see if I want to read all of her adoption story. Yes, let’s Okay. Her adoption story is amazing. I love an adoption story in that she had a traumatic past with her bio father and wanted him and everything to do with him out of her life. So she turned 18 on February 12, she petitioned the court as an adult to be adopted by my husband, who had been her dad for all intents and purposes, since she was two, and we were in court on February 29 and she got a brand new birth certificate in her new name with her real daddy, and also got to graduate with his name, which was a huge step in freeing her from that trauma, if you want to see the little Oh, and she sent us a video. Yeah, okay, okay,
Alissa 50:00
we gotta go watch me. Love, love,
Katy 50:01
love you guys. We were sharing that. Tanya, that’s awesome. Okay, well, we’ll go watch our video
Alissa 50:06
later. Misty Taylor, who’s been around we know Misty, one of the things I love about the show is that y’all really make us feel like friends. You are our friend. You are our friend. And also, community has been so good for me, because seeing people’s faces and hearing them talk is how I form relationships. I have trouble like on messages and things. Yeah, this has been so good and Misty. Also said I relate to Alyssa because I’m not much on the fluff, but I am very much a people person.
Katy 50:36
Fascinating. You know, you can be both. You can be both. You can be both. All right. Karen said You are my favorite podcast. Karen, you’re my favorite person. I think I came into the game a little bit late. You were not even late. You were already on episode. On the 50th episode, that was still year one, very early, so I had to go back and listen. But I love the days that you’re on. I am still working on implementing systems. Congratulations on five years. Cheers to hustle. Humbly, Alyssa and Katie, some of my favorite quotes are community over competition, of course. And she loved the 8010 10 rule the other day that we shared from someone in I think community, or one of those told me love 80% of the house change 10% and live with the other 10% and of course, the quote, We are not brain surgeons. People aren’t gonna die if they don’t get a house over the weekend. Every time you mention at the beginning of the podcast what episode number you were on, I just smile because I’m so happy for your success.
Alissa 51:34
Oh,
Katy 51:35
thank you. Karen’s so nice. Are you done?
Alissa 51:39
I’m all done. Okay, well, you
Katy 51:40
can have these. Thank you. Tell
Alissa 51:41
us three more episodes,
Katy 51:43
all right, so let’s do the last ones. Okay, episode number fourth most listened to. Episode How to real estate farm. Okay, and do you remember the picture
Alissa 51:55
that also say maybe it’s popular because of our farming photo,
Katy 51:58
we re reenacted the American Gothic, like, pitchfork, yeah, wife like at the farm, yeah. And we made the weird faces. So it’s actually a terrible photo of my face, but it is a terrible photo,
Alissa 52:11
both of us terrible. Okay, but
Katy 52:13
that was number four. Number three, marketing, a listing, okay, okay. Do you see a theme in the top 10 episodes, yes. Number two, selling yourself as a new agent. Love that one. That’s a goody. And number one, most downloaded episode As of recording, working with sellers, pre listing prep.
Alissa 52:36
This is wild. It’s
Katy 52:37
like a mic drop moment. I’m like, Y’all, I am so proud of you for focusing on your listing work, because that is what you need right now and forever.
Alissa 52:50
Agreed list,
Katy 52:51
working with sellers, selling yourself as a new agent, marketing a listing, how to real estate farm, working with sellers from listing to closing that five of the top 10 are all on listing. That’s
Alissa 53:04
awesome.
Katy 53:05
I’m I think that says a lot. It does says a lot. Okay, give us a story. Celeste,
Alissa 53:13
I wanted to say happy birthday, and then I couldn’t have survived my first year without y’all. I listened to almost every episode as I drove around showing buyers you taught me not to be a pop tart. Yep.
Katy 53:24
Love it. Love it. Okay, I have one last one on mine. Okay? Jackie said all of what I’ve learned my first two years of real estate came from hustle. Humbly, you two are a wealth of knowledge, and I’m so thankful to have learned from you. My Monday morning routine always includes listening to the newest episode, and I had one more that came in that I wasn’t able to get on here because it came this morning, but it’s hers said at the end. I’ve always said when an episode ends like, sometimes you’re like, are these too small, yeah. But some people are sad when
Alissa 53:54
it’s over. Who should do some bonus this month? Maybe. So yeah, you know some replays of the top 10
Katy 54:00
the guy that audited the show, the YouTube guy audited, yeah, he just free audited the YouTube show. Okay, it’s in a video. Okay, I’ll share with you later. Um, he said that we should reshare Episode One, because, like, maybe the old people, like the new people, didn’t go back that far, yeah, and it’s like, such an interesting so hey, what else you got Megan says
Alissa 54:24
hustle humbly has created a sense of peace in my business with systems, boundaries and just overall how I operate my business. Eternally grateful for both of you in the community you have created. It is a one of a kind gym. Last one from Shelby, hello. Love you both. Listen to you from Texas. You bring so much advice and insight. It keeps me motivated, and you both are truly inspiring. Keep doing what you do, and we will precious. Yeah, not going anywhere, not going anywhere.
Katy 54:58
I think the toast for today. Should be to our listeners,
Alissa 55:01
don’t you think I do?
Katy 55:03
So what do you want to say? What do you want to say to them? Oh, man, this was really super nice. I hope that people aren’t thinking it was too indulgent of us, because it is a love, love you
Alissa 55:15
as they started coming in at first, I felt that way, like, Oh, this is just like tooting our own horn, you know? But then it was, it was actually very humbling for me to be like, Wow, this these are real people, real stories. If y’all weren’t here and if y’all weren’t sharing your success stories with us, I would probably get burnt out, just like I did on the coffee dates. Yeah, right, because, like, Is
Katy 55:45
anyone out there? Is
Alissa 55:46
anyone out there? You’re listening. Does this even matter? Who cares?
Katy 55:49
But we
Alissa 55:50
this is just a handful of the messages we get through our email, through our How many do we just do, maybe you are DN, 30 people wrote in, and there was so just like, Katie actually tries to keep a spreadsheet anytime we get a kind message of any kind, and it’s just on a running document. But it’s like, that is why I’m not getting burnt out from podcasting, right? Because
Katy 56:19
you get that fulfillment feedback. Yeah, it’s working.
Alissa 56:23
It’s helping other people. It’s helping the industry. It’s helping families, right? Like it’s just makes me happy.
Katy 56:33
