How to Build Your Realtor Brand with Confidence and Connection

If you’re wondering how to build your Realtor brand in a crowded market, you’re not alone. In Episode 308 of the Hustle Humbly Podcast, we sat down with brand and web designer Tori Sprankel, who specializes in helping entrepreneurs (especially moms!) figure out what makes them stand out—and how to show up online with confidence.

Why Branding Isn’t About Fonts or Logos

Many Realtors get stuck thinking their brand starts with colors and fonts. Tori flips that idea on its head. She says your brand starts with connection and consistency. That’s what makes people trust you. Not your Canva graphics.

Instead of asking what your brand looks like, ask what it feels like. Are you someone people want to bring to their favorite coffee shop? The one who knows the best quiet corners of town? Start there.

Your Brand = Your Overlap

Tori explains that your brand is the overlap between what you love and what your clients love. That’s the sweet spot where your content becomes magnetic. Not everyone has to love it. But your people will.

Start Small, Build Confidence

If the idea of showing your face online gives you anxiety, you’re not alone. Tori recommends starting with a “warm hello”—a cozy image from your day, like your coffee or a view from your porch. Then ease into mirror selfies, then stories, and eventually reels.

Confidence builds over time. You don’t have to go from zero to 60.

What to Post Today

Feeling stuck? Tori says the easiest way to connect is through a monthly recap carousel. Share lifestyle photos with little captions: a client win, a behind-the-scenes peek, your favorite local bakery. This kind of post mixes personal and professional—and it’s working really well right now.

And if you’re not into social media? No problem. Focus on connecting in real life. Drop off notes or little gifts. Go to events. Be a person, not just a Realtor.
